Our mission is to provide a safe-haven for SharPei in need,
ultimately, finding them a stable and loving home to live out
happy lives. We work with local shelters and humane societies to
rescue SharPei that in are in these facilities and will also work
with individuals that, for whatever reason, can no longer care for
their SharPei. Our goal is to save SharPei from euthanasia for
unnecessary reasons such as shelter over-crowding. To better understand
our thoughts and feelings on rescue (and dogs in general), please
read our Rescuers Creed.
We are a volunteer organization and many of us work full-time jobs
so please be patient if you cannot reach us immediately. We promise
to get in touch with you as soon as possible. All phone calls and
emails will be returned.
We had a booth at this years pet expo held in Jacksonville, FL. Thanks to our Jacksonville volunteers Debi & Joe for participating and making our booth and this event a great success.
Plus a special thanks to Geri Rooks for her continued support of time and money that allows FSPR to actively participate in this type of event.

The First Coasts Largest Pet party was held on Saturday and Sunday, February 16-17, 2008 at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds and featured Animal Planets Jeff Corwin and Jay Stutz.
The Jacksonville Humane Society is working with the City’s Animal Care and Control to benefit animals in our community. |
